Here is the correspondence between myself and the hosting provider and their explanation. Thank you for your cooperation in using

I may be able to solve the problem with a series of redirects to and use hostpapa as a controller.

If this is acceptable to you, please enable my cpanel and I’ll make the necessary changes.

Dear Tiffany,

Allow me to introduce myself – my name is Daniel and I’m part of HostPapa’s Solutions team. I will be your dedicated Account Manager at HostPapa.

Thank you for your patience in awaiting my response. I have now gathered relevant information regarding resource use and errors for your domains in your cPanel which seems to be the one causing hits and faults.

These domains have been experiencing high traffic and hit numbers, producing resource limitations, which means that this domain is failing to load for certain visitors, not loading elements properly, and simply crashing.

You can view these logs yourself, please go to your cPanel and click on “Raw Access”. Here, you can download the logs for each domain and audit them. Full instructions at this link:

At the moment, your account is hosted on a shared server on a Business plan, which has several resource restrictions. Please read more here (look under Business):

Precisely your account has encountered the following resource faults and limitations in the last weeks:

CPU faults – 927
IOf (IO faults) – 113

In the links below you can see limits restrictions shared web hosting, what
causes excessive shared web hosting server usage, and how to minimize shared web
hosting server usage.

Your website’s performance is currently hindered given your site is generating traffic beyond permitted server resource levels. At this point, it’s important to upgrade your hosting service to ensure all your websites are properly functioning and that there is a fair balance of server resource use for
all accounts.
