The Bible – A Letter from a Loving Father
There are many different Bibles and everyone loves their particular version, holding it dear to their heart, but the message is the same in all of them. The message is God’s love expressed by the Ransom Sacrifice of his Dear Son, The Lord Jesus Christ (Yehohshua). It is God’s means of saving people from sin and death. John 3:16
He only wants you to accept his love and this provision that he has made. You are very precious to him.
“This good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth.”—Matthew 24:14.
God is love. (1 John 4:8) The truth of God is that he is a loving Father. His purpose for the Earth is to fill it with happy, healthy people. That is all. He has provided the Ransom Sacrifice of Jesus Christ as evidence of his love for each and every person, that you may live forever. If you have found this site, you have found the way to life. The Ransom Sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ is the only way to become reconciled to God.
All Bibles are wonderful , and Reasoning from the Scriptures published by Yehowah’s Witnesses quotes from over 20 different ones!
We can tell people the Good News from any of them, if they want to use their own Bible, the message of hope is the same in all of them.
When we personally study the Bible, we want the most accurate translation possible. You can use other Bibles for comparison purposes. Some are beautifully phrased in some passages, like the King James Version (KJV) reading of Revelation 21:3,4.
Truth in Translation
The book “Truth in Translation” is a secular book. The author says that the Bible that Yehowah’s Witnesses use, the New World Translation (NWT) is the most accurate. You can start using the online version right away!
With regard to God’s name:
Jason David BeDuhn, the author of Truth in Translation says “the NWT is the only accurate translation of the nine we are comparing, since all of the other translations replace the personal name of God, in over six thousand passages, with the euphemistic title "Lord" (given by many of these translations in all capitals as "LORD" . . .). YHWH does appear in the original Hebrew of these passages, and the only accurate translation is one that renders the name into some pronounceable form. The NWT rightly does this; the others do not.
This book was written before our understanding of God’s name in Hebrew, Yehowah.
Where you see the name Jehovah in the New World Translation, it is the Latinized English pronunciation, just say Yehowah. Yehowah’s Witnesses have not yet acknowledged God’s name in Hebrew. I have prayed that Yehowah’s name be sanctified and that we all end up eventually with a version of the New World Translation with God’s name in Hebrew, Yehowah. It will be the ultimate Bible of all time.
Just ask any Witness if they would please bring you a Bible and they will be glad to. They are provided at no cost to you. It is the Rolls Royce of Bibles.
